Built out of a bad lockout experience
ASAP started the way a lot of good small businesses do: with a frustrating experience. The owners locked their keys in their own vehicle and lost keys several times, and the service they got from other locksmiths was less than satisfactory. So they decided to take over the business and give customers the second-to-none service they had wished for themselves.
Today ASAP serves a 50-mile radius around Springfield, Missouri, around the clock, with a white service truck and black key vans you may have seen around town. Car keys are the heart of the work: cutting and programming replacement keys, helping drivers who have lost every key, programming fobs and smart keys, and solving the immobilizer problems that leave a car cranking but refusing to start. Advanced immobilizer programming is our specialty.
How we do business
You'll talk directly with us, not an answering service, and you can call or text the same number. You'll hear a flat-fee price before anyone drives out, and once the job is assessed we stand by that quote. Most calls are wrapped up within 20 minutes, and we're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, holidays included.
We verify vehicle ownership before making keys. It takes a minute, and it protects you and everyone else on the road.
